China
Central Television will screen three documentaries co-sponsored
by South-North Institute for Sustainable Development in January
2003.
The
first two documentaries, respectively entitled A New Way in Snow
Mountain and Holland, A Green Country, will be broadcast in Man
& Nature of CCTV in 9:25pm on Jan. 6, 2003. A New Way in Snow
Mountain is about the 4-in-1 biogas integrated utilization project
carried out by SNISD. Chen Qing, executive director of SNISD,
and Zhan Wanli, a program officer of SNISD, are both interviewed
in the film. Holland, A Green Country, which was shot during May
and June 2002, is about the green life and floriculture in the
Netherlands. The making of the two documentaries are funded respectively
by Shell Foundation and World Wide Fund for Nature. Man &
Nature is hosted by Zhao Zhongxiang, one of the best-known TV
host.
The
third documentary, a 6-episode named One Planet with One Climate,
is to be screened in Green space of CCTV from Jan. 4 through Jan.
9. It's about the NUFCCC COP8 which took place in New Delhi in
October 2002. Several WWF climate change program officers as well
as high-ranking governmental officials are interviewed in the
film. The first broadcasting time of Green Space everyday is from
6:25pm through 6:40pm, the second from 0:00am through 0:15am the
following day (it will be 0:10am through 0:25 on Saturday and
0:25am though 0:45am) and the third 8:10am through 8:25am. The
making of the film is funded by World Wide Fund for Nature.

Endless True Love of CCTV-3 will screen a special program about
the 4-in-1 biogas integrated utilization project carried out by
