New Energy, New Hope, a film made by CCTV and SNISD in Sweden and Denmark, will be broadcast at 3:25 on July 17 Thursday in Man& Nature, one of the most popular feature programs in CCTV-1.

Funded by World Wide Fund for Nature and coordinated by South-North Institute for Sustainable Development, a study tour took place in early this March in terms of the development of renewable energy, especially the utilization of biomass. The delegation was made up of related governmental officials, representatives and experts from enterprises as well as a program-making team from China Central Television. The study tour has resulted in the introduction of the lessons and experiences of the development and utilization of biomass in the two countries into China as well as the potential cooperation between them and China.

Vasaloppet, A Festival in the Winter, a film made by CCTV in Sweden, will also be screened in Man & Nature this time.

The two films will be re-broadcast at 11:31pm on July 18 Friday.
